Important Statement from the Eagles' Wings Advisory Board and Local Pastors
  (10/11/2011)

October 11, 2011

The Advisory Board of Eagles' Wings Ministries regrets to announce the finalization of the divorce of Robert and Ana Stearns, which was initiated by Ana late last year.

The EWM Advisory Board are fully familiar with all the details of this painful situation. We have cumulatively spent literally hundreds of hours of ministry counseling with the Stearns'. We can speak with extensive firsthand knowledge of Robert’s extraordinary efforts to do all that he could to save his marriage. We stand in full, complete, and total support of the calling on Robert’s life and his place in active and fruitful ministry.

We are also witness to the continued constant care and devotion he has had and is displaying in fathering his sons and maintaining a godly home environment for them, which is his first priority. The EWM Advisory Board commends him on the graciousness and honor he has demonstrated in this most difficult season of trial. The Board commits Ana into the Lord’s hands, with our sincere and heartfelt prayers and hopes for her genuine well being.

Robert continues to place his family first in schedule and priority, while he also remains accountable to the EWM Advisory Board, counselors, and Christian leaders in the Body of Christ. The ministry of Eagles' Wings continues to grow under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and Robert's leadership, along with the capable ministry associates and staff. Eagles' Wings' impact is increasing throughout the Body of Christ, in the nation of Israel, and among Jewish and Christian leaders around the world.

We have so appreciated the prayers and support of the Christian and Jewish communities and leaders worldwide during this time. We look forward to a future filled with healing, hope, and fulfillment of God's calling and purposes for the Stearns family and Eagles' Wings Ministries.

Sincerely submitted,

Bishop Jim Bolin
