I'm happy to report to you that Eagles' Wings just graduated their 8th annual Summer Discipleship Program at our East Coast Leadership Conference in Washington, DC. Every summer we have teenagers from around the country and world come spend a 3-week intensive leadership training program.  These young people just really encourage me.  They are a great inspiration for where God is bringing His church.  It's so refreshing.

You know, traveling around the world and meeting with leaders from all different backgrounds is amazing and it's only by the grace of God that I've been given the platforms that I have been given.  But, I always say, "I'm just a regular guy from Clarence, NY, how did I get here?"  Nothing is better then speaking to young people at a key moment in their life, encouraging them to make good decisions at this crucial moment of their lives. 

I had a chance to spend a focused afternoon with them, as I do every year, while they were here at our offices in Buffalo.  It amazed me some of the questions that these young people had for me at the end of our time together.  The one thing that really stuck out about our time together was their sense of God being present and moving their generation.

I can't wait to see what God is going to do through them.  My prayer is that they would do far greater things then we've ever seen in any other time.
