Job Description: Joel coordinates the Jerusalem Prayer Banquet and the funding of the Israel Experience College Scholarships. He also coordinates other events and strategic initiatives including the Jerusalem Celebration of the Global Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem which is televised worldwide the first Sunday of October. Serving as a primary spokesman for Eagles’ Wings, Joel often represents Eagles’ Wings and Robert Stearns with ministry leaders, government officials, and leaders from Israel.
More About Me:
Joel James and his wife Pamela made their home for many years in the Greater New York City suburbs of Rockland County, New York where they met and graduated from Nyack College. Pamela was a public school teacher for eleven years and Joel worked in the fields of business and education. Joel and Pamela were involved in lay leadership positions in local churches and Joel founded a performance ministry called “Give It Up!” which used improvisational comedy to open doors for the Gospel. A powerful series of events directed by God brought the Jameses into full-time ministry with Eagles’ Wings in 2001.
Since joining Eagles’ Wings, Joel and Pamela have mentored interns and staff members, served on the Eagles’ Wings Community Life Team, and ministered in a variety of different areas. In 2001 Joel established the Eagles’ Wings Real Estate Department which he managed until 2009, coordinating the purchase, renovation, rental or sale of properties to benefit the work of Eagles’ Wings and provide housing for the growing EW team.
In 2004 Joel coordinated the first Jerusalem Celebration of the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem in Israel, and continues to do so each year. He also coordinates Night to Honor Israel events and the annual Jerusalem Prayer Banquet. Joel and Pamela are gifted teachers, and Joel speaks in churches and at various events, ministering and representing Eagles’ Wings. The Jameses have three children, Eden, Hannah and Josiah.
What Leaders Are Saying

Billy Wilson - Int’l Center for Spiritual Renewal
There are very few people in the Kingdom of God like Robert Stearns. He is always dynamic and he is always seeking God. He has a big heart for people, for the world and a heart for the Middle East and Israel. I am very impressed that He is both standing with Israel, and reaching out to Christians across the Middle East, many who are Arab Christians suffering because of the current conflict. Also, experiencing his anointing in worship you know that this man has the hand of God upon his life and I’m proud to call him my friend.
